Dr Wilkinson trained at Otago Medical school and has worked in Christchurch, Whangarei and Auckland Hospitals prior to travelling to England gaining experience in surgery in 1985-1986.
He established his family medicine practice in Manurewa in 1988 and developed a special interest in skin surgery and appearance medicine. Dr Wilkinson is the Founder and Director of The Face Clinic.
Dr Wilkinson is passionate about enhancing his patient’s looks and addressing any particular appearance concern by creating a long term plan to maintaining optimum skin health, slowing the process of aging and achieving natural-looking results through injectable and surgical treatments.
He enjoys swimming and sailing outside of his busy family practice and spending as much time as he can with his three daughters.
